Since Sunday, for many, it is a day of worship, I have decided to do a show based solely on the GENRE of Contemporary Christian music.
If you've never listened to this type of music, or you haven't heard it in awhile, I encourage you to tune in! You may be pleasantly surprised, as I was, to find it bursting with energy and thriving with creativity!
Since these songs are usually isolated on their own radio stations, or played at concerts or in church, if you're not in that particular target audience, you might be missing out on some really great stuff . . . no matter what your musical preference or religious beliefs. Although set apart from mainstream, these songs incorporate various styles and manage to span across several other genres in order to spread the Good News of peace, hope and love regardless of the medium.
I hope you find these selections as inspirational as I did . . . whether you plan to listen as you cruise the internet or you find yourself singing along, tapping your foot or being moved by the spirit . . . thanks for listening to another round of original works from today's talented Independent artists!
